About Chris Peknic

Christopher Peknic, LCSW is a Clinical Psychotherapist and Depth Pattern Analyst who focuses on the transformation of individuals and relationships in order for them to increase their happiness and meaning in their lives. Training with Terry Real (Relational Life Institute). 

Chris believes this TRT work is one of the most important areas we should be focused on today.  This work identifies hidden patterns and parts of ourselves which when revealed and changed, can significantly enhance the growth of the individual and relationship. 

Chris is a Clinical Licensed Psychotherapist with two Master degrees; an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University and an MPA from New York University (NYU). He possesses 20+ years of therapy experience along with Harvard Medical School Couples Treatment and certifications in Pattern Analysis and Dream Analysis. He is also trained in EMDR Therapy to work with trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD and other issues. Chris maintains his primary practice in Bristol, Rhode Island and is available for phone consults and speaking engagements across the country.  He is also a Certifed Mindfulness Teacher (trained by Jack Kornfied and Tara Brach) and Certified Somatic Psychology & Breathwork Facilitator.
